CGI + Sketch = Paperman

This short is a bit different from what we would typically post, but when I watched it I knew it just had to be shared.

This Disney short film, directed by John Kahrs is really the first of its kind. By using a new technology that allows animators to draw over top of CGI, ‘Paperman’

creates a blurred line between classic, drawn Disney animation & the digital animation we see most often today.

“Paperman” is nominated for Best Animated Short Film at this year’s Oscars.
