2012 Olympic Logo

The design for the 2012 London Olympics has been floating around for some time already & has been subjected to a good deal of criticism & controversy.

Specially created for London 2012 by Wolff Olins, the font is aimed at attracting youth, as well as to represent the vivacity & diversity that is London. The logo’s primary color is pink. But is also displayed in alternate versions of orange, green & blue.

However, many raise the question – what was ever wrong with the original logo used in the Olympic bidding process?

What do you think of the current Olympic logo – is it an improvement from the first?
