We’re finally back with another Typeface Tuesday! This week features Brim Narrow – Designed by Jamie Clarke. We’re loving the depth and layers of this typeface. Designers description below:
“Brim is inspired by antique woodtype and chromatic type from the 1800s. Its various styles stack together creating a variety of decorative combinations. Each layer can be assigned its own colour, resulting in a rich assortment of eye-catching results.”

Dangerdust

Dangerdust is a duo of two annonymous college seniors that created a collection of chalkboard pieces.
“In our final year at Columbus College of Art & Design we brought it upon ourselves to create a chalkboard every week. We took over the chalkboard on the third floor of Crane and every Monday a new board would appear.”
Some of their pieces took up to eleven hours to complete, and have incredible depth for using only chalk. A few examples are below. You can also follow Dangerdust on Instagram and Behance.

Typeface Tuesday: Children of Bolduc

Les Enfants de la Bolduc. Designed by Philippe Cossette.
“This project reflects La Bolduc’s influence on the contemporary music 70 years after her death. The typography and logo were created from form of three different colors, each represents a big step of Bolduc’s life. The overlay of the three colors shows the cultural gift she yield to future Quebec artists.”

From the Muesum of Modern Art in NYC comes the MoMA Art Lab for junior visitors of the museum – created by Tony Lee Jr.
